The first step is to call or e-mail me and tell me about your thoughts and ideas for a new home or a renovation or addition to your existing home. After that initial conversation, we will then set up a time to meet in person to further discuss your project and for me to see your building site or your existing space.

There is no charge for an initial meeting.


For a new home, we will discuss your space needs, style preferences, thoughts on energy efficiency and your building site along with budget and timeframe for your new living space. For a renovation or addition, we will walk through your existing home and discuss what you hope to improve and your anticipated space needs. “Would you like to improve the exterior appearance of your home? Might a new Master Bedroom suite or larger Garage be on your wish list? Do you need more storage or a better Mudroom?” Any and all ideas and questions will be reviewed as well as budget and timeframe for the project.

After the initial meeting, I will prepare a proposal that will outline the ideas discussed, followed by a description of the design process, how long I anticipate it will take me to complete your project, an explanation of my fees and an estimate of anticipated cost. Upon approval of the proposal, we will schedule a start date and begin the enjoyable and interesting process of shaping a new space for you.
